Bild reports that Borussia Dortmund right-back Thomas Meunier has attracted interest from Serie A and the Premier League as he moves closer to the exit door at the club.
It is reported that Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan are all interested in the Belgian. Aston Villa are also reportedly interested in Meunier, who played under coach Unai Emery at PSG.
Meunier’s contract at Dortmund expires in 2024 but Dortmund are willing to let the right-back leave for €3m. The low fee is mainly due to the fact that Meunier is one of the top earners at Dortmund and they would like to get his salary off of the books. The 31-year-old joined Dortmund in 2020 on a free transfer from PSG.
The 31-year-old has not played for Dortmund since March when he made a substitute appearance in Dortmund’s 6-1 win against 1. FC Köln.
Meunier has found himself behind Marius Wolf and Julian Ryerson in the pecking order at the club and with Dortmund showing interest in Ivan Fresneda, the Belgian will drop further down.
