According to Bild, Borussia Dortmund could soon announce the signing of Iván Fresneda from Real Valladolid.
The 18-year-old has become one of the most sought-after right-backs in European football. The Spanish U19 international has also been monitored by Arsenal, Newcastle United, and AC Milan, but it’s believed that BVB are in pole position to sign the exciting youngster.
As per the report, a deal is close and Fresneda could be announced as a Dortmund player very soon.
With a contract until 2025, Fresneda is expected to cost Borussia Dortmund around €20m. To fund a move, BVB are hoping to sell Thomas Meunier, who will have one-year remaining on his contract and a reported salary of around €7m.
Fresneda has played 20 games across La Liga and the Copa del Rey for Real Valladolid this season and has played 22 games across all competitions since making his debut last season.
