Eintracht Frankfurt set to keep Randal Kolo Muani

As reported via Bild, Manchester United are no longer considering Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani as a transfer target.

The English side have decided to move away from a potential transfer due to the €100m price tag Die Adler have placed upon the Frenchman. This is despite United head coach Erik Ten Hag’s disappointment due to his admiration for the 24-year-old, who he believes is a top striker.

Paris-Saint Germain have also shown their interest in Kolo Muani, however, a transfer would only be made if Kylian Mbappé moves to Real Madrid. Therefore, the only other possible destination for the French international would be Bayern Munich, but they are currently embroiled in an attempt to lure Harry Kane to Bavaria.

If Kolo Muani is to remain in Frankfurt then new head coach Dino Toppmöller would have a phenomenal striker on his hands. The 24-year-old was Die Adler’s leading marksman last season with 23 goals in all competitions, however, with a further 17 assists, Kolo Muani has proved to have a creative aspect in his game too.

Currently, Eintracht sporting director Markus Krösche is relaxed about the future of his star player. Kolo Muani’s contract is not up until 2027, which means that The Eagles hold all the cards over his valuation and the player himself has not indicated a desire to leave the club.
