Bayern Munich submit offer worth €70m plus add-ons for Harry Kane

The Athletic reports that Bayern Munich have submitted a €70m offer plus add-ons for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

The England striker currently has a year left on his contract and all Bayern are waiting for is for Kane to let Tottenham know that he is ready to leave the club this summer. Bayern have already held talks with Kane and his family which have progressed well. The Bundesliga champions are ready to meet the demands that Tottenham have for their record goal scorer.

Real Madrid, Manchester City and Manchester United are all interested in Kane, while Bayern continues to search for a world-class striker to replace Robert Lewandowski who left Bayern for Barcelona last summer.

Last season, Bayern resorted to playing Eric Maxim Choupo Moting as their main striker for most of the season. While at times, Thomas Müller, Sadio Mané, Serge Gnabry and Mathys Tel have also filled the role.

In a season where Tottenham missed out on European football, Kane still finished with 32 goals in 49 games for the club. His tally in the league was only overshadowed by former Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland breaking the Premier League scoring record.
