Borussia Dortmund vs Arminia Bielefeld to go ahead despite positive Covid results

Arminia Bielefeld Sporting Director Samir Arabi confirms their Bundesliga game against Borussia Dortmund on Sunday will go ahead despite head coach Franz Kramer testing positive for Covid-19.

Further to Kramer returning a positive result, Kicker also report that six first team players have tested positive. Assistant coach Ilia Gruev will take charge of the game against BVB.

“We still have enough guys who will do everything they can at the Signal Iduna Park, to play well and with a bit of luck, to be successful,” said Arabi. There is a chance that the game could still be postponed should the club receive more positive results overnight: “If five or six new cases suddenly surface, we would have a problem.”
