Bayer Leverkusen defender Panagiotis Retsos wishes to remain at Premier League club Sheffield United should the opportunity arise.
“I would like to continue in England and Sheffield because he (Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder) believes in me very much. He has a plan for me and it is important to practise and get even better,” Retsos told Panagiotis Retsos.
The 21-year-old joined Sheffield United on loan in January and has a contract with Bayer Leverkusen until 2022 but B04’s Rudi Völler believes Retsos needs more minutes.
“Panos needs a club where he simply plays, this is important for his career,” said Völler.
