RB Leipzig target Milot Rashica as Timo Werner replacement

RB Leipzig will open discussions with Werder Bremen to sign 23-year-old attacker Milot Rashica as a replacement for Timo Werner, according to Kicker.

Borussia Dortmund have also shown significant interest in signing the Rashica, who is expected to leave Werder for a Champions League club.

The Kosovo international has a release clause of €38 million but should Werder Bremen be relegated from the Bundesliga, interested parties may be able to get Rashica at a cut price.

“If they play again in a few weeks, there will be movement in the transfer market again and you can start specific discussions with clubs,” Rashica’s representative Altin Lala told Kicker.

RB Leipzig signing Rashica would also be more likely should Timo Werner leave Julian Nagelsmann’s side, with Liverpool and Bayern Munch interested in the Germany international.
