Arsenal face competition from Bayern Munich and Real Madrid for RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano, according to FussballTransfers, citing AS.
“The competition for Upamecano is very strong,” a source told AS, with Bayern Munich wanting to sign a replacement for Jerome Boateng who looks ever-likely to leave the Bundesliga club in the summer.
Per the report, Zinedine Zidane is said to have a charm on his compatriot, whilst Arsenal have also shown significant interest in the 21-year-old.
The Premier League club had a bid turned down by RB Leipzig last summer and it’s likely they’ll make another move this once again.
