Speaking ahead of their game against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday, Eintracht Frankfurt defender Martin Hinteregger believes his side are ready for the challenge that the Bundesliga restart possesses.
“The anticipation is huge, you can see that in every session. Everyone wants to play. We have trained forever and now there is finally a competition that is about winning three points. It is a new situation for us all, but we are prepared for it,” Hinteregger told Kicker.
Speaking about his former club Borussia Mönchengladbach, the Austria international believes that Marco Rose’s side can still challenge for the Bundesliga title.
“I rate them very highly, Gladbach are still a championship candidate.”
