Borussia Mönchengladbach attacker Marcus Thuram has discussed his partnership with compatriot Alassane Pléa, whom has helped the 22-year-old settle to life in Germany.
“Alassane is a bit older than me and has more experience,” Thuram told Sport Bild. “We still laugh about many things together. We’re both jokers and get along really well on the pitch. What’s valuable to us is that we think very alike when it comes to football.”
Thuram has scored six and created eight in 25 Bundesliga games following his €9 million transfer from EA Guingamp last summer.
