Erling Braut Haaland & Alexander Sörloth no longer need to quarantine in Norway

Contrary to reports, Norwegian duo Erling Braut Haaland and Alexander Sörloth don’t have to quarantine before returning to their respective Bundesliga clubs.

RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krösche confirmed to Kicker on Sunday that Sörloth is expected to return to the club later in the evening whilst Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has also confirmed that Haaland will return soon.

Upon return, Sörloth has to provide two negative test results for Covid-19 before retuning to team training at RB Leipzig. According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Haaland would need to go into quarantine upon returning to Dortmund and like Sörloth, return two negative tests before returning to training.

On Friday, Norway international Omar Elabdellaoui tested positive for Covid-19 and as a result, local health authorities demanded that the entire Norway team go into a 10 day quarantine – after standing firm, it now appears that Bundesliga trio Haaland, Sörloth and Rune Jarstein no longer need to go into quarantine.
