VfL Bochum loanee Jordi Osei-Tutu allegedly racially abused yesterday

Bild Sport report this morning that Arsenal’s Jordi Osei-Tutu was racially abused in a friendly match between the club that he is currently on loan at, VfL Bochum and FC St. Gallen, by an opponent, Slimen Kchouk.

Bochum representative Sebastian Schindzielorz confirmed that the club has spoken with St Gallen about the situation.

The incident is understood to have occurred in the 43rd minute of their friendly yesterday at which point Osei-Tutu complained to the referee, pointing at Kchouk, before bursting into tears.

Osei-Tutu is expected to communicate publicly about the incident later today.
