Barcelona have made contact with Borussia Dortmund regarding a potential transfer for Raphaël Guerreiro with the Catalan side reportedly willing to pay up to €25 million for the Portugal international, according to Sport.
Guerreiro, who can play as a left back or winger, is viewed by Barcelona as a potential understudy to the long serving Jordi alba, primarily due to his attacking sensibilities.
With just one year left on his current deal, Barcelona are confident of securing Guerreiro’s signature, as Dortmund may choose to cash-in this summer.
Kicker also suggested last month that BVB are undecided on the future of Guerreiro.
