Manchester City attacker Lukas Nmecha could headed for the Bundesliga with Borussia Mönchengladbach interested in signing the 20-year-old on a permanent basis, according to Bild.
The German youth international will play for his national side at this summer’s Under 21 European Championship after changing his allegiance from England to Germany last year.
Nmecha has had a mixed season on loan at Championship side Preston North End, featuring 41 times for the club, while only finding the net on three occasions.
He is expected to return to parent club Manchester City this summer, with reports in Germany suggesting that Gladbach may look to loan the forward instead, should the Premier League club be unwilling to sell.
