Augsburg have extended the contract of central defender Martin Hinteregger until 2021, as was announced at their AGM on Monday evening.
“We are delighted that Martin sees his future in Augsburg beyond this season and that he will wear the FCA jersey in the long term,” said managing director Stefan Reuter.
Hinteregger added: “I feel very comfortable with FCA and I’m happy about the vote of confidence.”
The 25-year-old joined the club in 2016 and has since played 42 games in all competitions.
