Premier League interest in Borussia Dortmund’s Giovanni Reyna

As reported by SportBild, Borussia Dortmund’s Giovanni Reyna wants to leave this January amid interest from Premier League clubs.

The American international is currently unhappy with his playing time at BVB, and that’s unlikely to change if he stays for the remainder of the season.

The winger’s current contract runs until June 2025 and is would cost any potential buyer around €15m-€20m.

What’s more, Reyna has recently changed agent to Jorge Mendes who has ample links to several clubs, possibly none more so than Premier League clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest.

The Portuguese mega agent has made several deals with the likes of Wolves in the past few years since their promotion in 2018.

Outside of England, there has also been interest from Marseille, Sevilla and Real Sociedad.

With the arrival of Jadon Sancho, Reyna is likely to be pushed further down the pecking order at Dortmund as he struggled to get onto the pitch in the first half of the season, only making a total of 12 appearances with two starts.
