Eintracht Frankfurt’s ambitious start to 2024 with new star signings

Eintracht Frankfurt have started off 2024 with a 1-0 victory over RB Leipzig. This triumph not only showcases the team’s ambitions for the second half of the Bundesliga season but also for the Europa Conference League. The addition of two notable winter transfers, Sasa Kalajdzic, who is on loan from Wolves, and Donny van de Beek, who is on loan from Manchester United, this further reinforces the club’s commitment to success.

Frankfurt’s ability to attract such talent is attributed to its exciting development. According to Sascha Empacher, who recently facilitated Kalajdzic’s loan to the Eagles, spoke to Sport Bild via fussball.news: said: “Eintracht Frankfurt is in the top 5 in Germany in terms of the city, the environment and the structures. I hardly know of any club in the Bundesliga that is organised like that.”

Empacher praises Frankfurt as a “top club” that remains enticing for many players. He believes that the club, which he considers highly organised, has not reached the peak of its development. Markus Krösche, SGE sporting director, has played a crucial role in accelerating the club’s growth, establishing it as one of the Bundesliga’s best clubs.

Krösche highlights the advantages Frankfurt offers, which include a supportive environment where players can both feel comfortable and develop their skills. The emotional atmosphere at the club is seen as a driving force behind high performance.

Additionally the arrival of the two new signings, who were formerly associated with high-profile moves to the Premier League, is a significant statement from Frankfurt. Despite not featuring often in their previous clubs, the Austrian striker Kalajdzic and Dutch midfielder Van de Beek bring a wealth of talent and experience to the team.

The German club currently sit sixth in the Bundesliga and are in the play off round of the Europa Conference League.
