As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Marseille are in advanced talks with Borussia Dortmund for Giovanni Reyna.
As per the report, the French club are at the advanced stage and will hope to secure the American international’s services as soon as possible. It was also reported earlier this week by GGFN that Reyna could leave BVB as soon as the end of this week.
Marseille will face competition from Premier League side Nottingham Forest who have a verbal agreement with the American.
Due to the arrival of Jadon Sancho as well as several poor performances this season, Reyna has dropped down the pecking order at Dortmund and has had to deal with minimal minutes off of the bench. This has pushed the 21-year-old to look at other options this winter.
A move could be forced this week as Reyna’s new agent Jorge Mendes has already offered the American to nine clubs, including Real Sociedad, Sevilla and Benfica but no club has shown concrete interest in Reyna.
