Chris Führich prefers move to Bayern Munich over Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig

Bild reports that Chris Führich prefers a move to Bayern Munich in the summer if he were to leave VfB Stuttgart.

It is said that Führich is a Bayern fan having grown up in Castrop-Rauxel in the Ruhr area of Germany. Führich reportedly has a release clause which is valued at €23.5m in the summer. Bayern are not the sole club interested in Führich as at times, the winger has been linked to Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig and former club Borussia Dortmund.

A move to Bayern would not really make any sense for Führich due to the current make-up of the squad with Leroy Sané, Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman all likely ahead of him in the pecking order.

The 26-year-old can also look towards January signing Bryan Zaragoza who has failed to show any sort of impact on the team since joining from Granada in the winter.

Führich has been one of Stuttgart’s key players as they push for potential Champions League qualification. In 28 games this season, Führich has seven goals and seven assists as Stuttgart sit third in the league, level on points with Bayern. The winger’s form also saw him earn his first callup to the German national team with it likely that he could be in the final squad for the Euros in the summer.
