Bayern Munich in desperate need of attacking reinforcement

As reported by Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich are looking to sign Bryan Zaragoza six months earlier than planned.

The Granada winger officially signed for Der Rekordmeister in early December after impressing in the Spanish top flight. However, Bayern are now doing what they can to sign the 22-year-old six months before he is supposed to arrive in Bavaria.

Due to the injury sustained to Kingsley Coman against Augsburg on Saturday and the prolonged injury to Serge Gnabry, Bayern are low in attacking depth. It is understood that Granada have been informed about Bayern’s desire to sign Zaragoza early, but no concrete offer has yet been made.

Nevertheless, the Spanish side are unwilling to let their star player leave. This is because they will only have one day to find a replacement for the 22-year-old, who is considered a key player in their fight to avoid relegation to Spain’s second tier.

Therefore, if the record champions are unable to tempt Granada with the early acquisition of Zaragoza, then they may have to look elsewhere in the transfer market.

On the other hand, according to Bild, those at Bayern are considering Mathys Tel as a potential option on the wing as they look to offer the Frenchman the opportunity to break into the starting XI.
