Sehrou Guirassy prefers a move to the Premier League

Amid interest from across EuropeKicker reports that VfB Stuttgart’s striker Sehrou Guirassy’s preference is a move to the Premier League.

Guirassy currently has a release clause of €17.5m which is valid in the winter transfer window. His entourage is working on all possible scenarios for the 27-year-old and the key aspect of any potential move is playing time. Guirassy has already rejected moves that did not promise him guaranteed playing time.

The 27-year-old is expected to travel to the Africa Cup of Nations in the winter and this would complicate any potential move as the striker would be unable to integrate into his new team until February.

There is also the prospect that Guirassy would be leaving Stuttgart when they are having their best season since 2007 whilst personally the Guienan is competing with Harry Kane for the Torjägerkanone and is currently four goals behind the Englishman.

Stuttgart currently have no money for a replacement for Guirassy and if he does leave, Stuttgart would need to use the money received from his sale to invest in a replacement. Stuttgart currently do have Deniz Undav who is also in very good form but they do not have any alternatives.
