Nassim Boujellab and Timothée Kolodziejczak left behind by Schalke for their training camp

According to WAZ, Schalke duo Nassim Boujellab and Timothée Kolodziejczak will not follow the rest of the squad for their winter training camp in Turkey.

Boujellab was previously on loan at HJK Helsinki but his loan came to an end on December 31st and he must now begin the search for a new club.

Kolodziejczak joined the club on a free transfer in October whilst Schalke were in an injury crisis at centre-back but has only played 24 minutes for Schalke. The 31-year-old has not been able to convince Thomas Reis. The Frenchman may also need to look for a new club this January, but is contracted until the end of the season.

Schalke currently sit 18th in the Bundesliga, five points off of safety and have only won twice this season against Bochum and Mainz. They are already on their second head coach, appointing Thomas Reis back in October, who replaced Frank Kramer but under both managers, they have looked underwhelming.
