Deyovaisio Zeefuik has no future at Hertha Berlin

As reported by Kicker, Deyovaisio Zeefuik doesn’t have a future at Hertha Berlin.

The 24-year-old has played just five minutes under Sandro Schwarz this season and is expected to leave the Bundesliga club. Since joining for a reported €4m from Groningen in 2020, Zeefuik has played just 35 games across all competitions, and also spent six months on loan at Blackburn Rovers.

According to BILD, negotiations are already underway with clubs from his native country of the Netherlands, plus further European clubs. Zeefuik has a contract until 2024 but would be allowed to leave for on a free transfer, with Hertha Berlin wanting the Dutchman off of their payroll.

Hertha are currently down in 15th, above Stuttgart, who occupy the relegation playoff, only by goal difference. Die Alte Dame resume their Bundesliga campaign on January 21 against Bochum, who are just one point behind.

Also out of the Hertha Berlin door this transfer window is Davie Selke (27). The German forward is currently undergoing a medical and is expected to sign a contract until 2024 with the Billy Goats.
