Konstantinos Mavropanos’ entourage in contact with Napoli

It’s yet to be seen as to whether or not Konstantinos Mavropanos will be a Stuttgart player next season.

Kicker report that the entourage of Mavropanos are in contact with Napoli. Mavropanos wants to leave Stuttgart, and VfB would be open to selling the 25-year-old should they receive a fee that matches their valuation.

With a contract until 2025, Mavropanos is likely to cost around €20m, with Napoli searching the market for a successor to Kim Min-jae, who joined Bayern Munich last month. As reported via our colleagues at Get Italian Football News, Napoli had also shown interest in signing Lens’ Kevin Danso, who is now expected to sign a new deal thus the Partenopei turning their attention towards Mavropanos.

Following a two-year loan spell from Arsenal, Stuttgart signed Mavropanos on a permanent basis last summer for €3.2m. The 25-year-old has been an important member of VfB’s defence over the last three seasons.
