Manu’s Game of the Week: Stuttgart vs Borussia Dortmund

My match of the week is Stuttgart vs Borussia Dortmund. Although, I predicted a pretty clear Dortmund win here, I actually expect the game to be a lot tighter than my scoreline suggests. Stuttgart have been a dangerous side all season and will keep this tight as long as possible. But without Serhou Guirassy I am afraid they will come just short of scoring against a Dortmund side that showed against Newcastle that they can be very composed in the back. In the attack, I expect Dortmund to score early and then wrap it up late. Either way, this should be a great game to watch between two very good Bundesliga sides.

Stefan’s Game of the Week: Bayer Leverkusen vs Union Berlin

My game of the week has to be the enticing clash between Bayer Leverkusen and Union Berlin on Sunday. Urs Fischer’s side looked much improved in their 1-1 draw with Napoli and while I think a win at the BayArena may be slightly beyond them at this point, there are growing hints that the Berlin club are turning a corner and slowly but surely getting themselves back on track. An away clash against the Bundesliga’s best team so far this season should make for an interesting contest.
