Borussia Mönchengladbach hold meeting with Gerardo Seoane

Former Bayer Leverkusen manager Gerardo Seoane is the number one candidate to replace Daniel Farke at Borussia Mönchengladbach, with the two set to part ways at the end of the season, reports Bild

There has reportedly already been a meeting between Seoane and Gladbach. The 44-year-old has become the main candidate over Gladbach under-23 coach Eugen Polanski as the club do not want to throw the young coach in at the deep end and they want to allow him to gain his UEFA Pro License without having to also focus on rebuilding a club.

Another surprise name on the list is Bochum coach Thomas Letsch. The coach has been discussed due to the possibility of Bochum getting relegated, which could open the door for Letsch to move. Gladbach held an interest in Letsch before he joined Bochum.

Gladbach are reportedly set to part ways with Farke at the end of the season due to the club’s poor form. Gladbach currently sits 11th in the Bundesliga and have drastically fallen off after a strong start to the season.
