A return to Borussia Dortmund for Jason Sancho is unlikely

Bild reports that any possible return to Borussia Dortmund for winger Jadon Sancho is unlikely, despite reports from England suggesting an offer for the 23-year-old has been made.

It is reported that no offer by Dortmund has been made for Sancho. Although contact between Sancho and the club has never stopped, Dortmund do not see a need for a winger at the moment, so the club feels no need to take any action towards acquiring Sancho.

Sancho’s parent club, Manchester United are also not interested in a loan and would prefer to sell Sancho directly. However, the price for the 23-year-old is completely unrealistic for Dortmund’s current plans. The winger only joined United in 2021 but has failed to live up to his €85m price tag.

Dortmund’s main priority is to replace Jude Bellingham, with it looking increasingly likely that Wolfsburg’s Felix Nmecha will join the club this summer, while Real Madrid’s Sergio Arribas is another contender to arrive in this window.
