Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt have today confirmed the signing of 24-year-old central-defender Jérôme Onguéné from RB Salzburg on a five-year contract until 2027.
The Cameroon international will join Eintracht on a free transfer when his contract with RB Salzburg expires at the end of the season.
“It’s certainly special that we’re signing a player who, at his young age, has already made numerous appearances in the Champions League,” said Sporting Director Markus Krösche. “It speaks volumes for Eintracht Frankfurt to have secured the services of such a player.”
Onguéné has played 18 games in all competitions this season.
