Julian Nagelsmann: “Everything was fine before Bochum.”

Speaking at Friday’s pre-match press conference ahead Sunday’s Bundesliga clash against Greuther Fürth, head coach Julian Nagelsmann discussed the current situation following their defeat to Bochum and draw against RB Salzburg.

“The goals we conceded aren’t because we’re playing with a high line,” said Nagelsmann. “It’s about finding a certain balance. Getting processes in where we need them and to have confidence in order to minimise mistakes when in possession of the ball.”

Bayern have adopted an attacking style under Nagelsmann, one that has seen Kingsley Coman, Leroy Sané, Thomas Müller and Serge Gnabry play behind Robert Lewandowski in recent weeks.

“Everything was fine before Bochum,” added Nagelsmann. “Everything isn’t fine anymore two games later, but that’s also completely normal and doesn’t affect anyone at Bayern.”
