Speaking at Friday’s presser, Bayern Munich head coach Julian Nagelsmann gave an injury update.
“The test to end his isolation was negative, which means he can be released,” said Nagelsmann. “He still has to undergo an examination to check that everything is alright. If the examinations go well, we’ll weigh up whether he can be involved on Sunday.”
Both Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry are doubts for Sunday’s Bundesliga game against Greuther Fürth: “Serge has a bit of a knock, his muscle has reacted,” added Nagelsmann. “King received a whack to his calf, he’s still a slight doubt for Sunday. We’ll have to wait and see.”
Manuel Neuer, Alphonso Davies and Leon Goretzka were also absent from training.
