According to David Ornstein from The Athletic, Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland (21) will announce his departure for Manchester City this week.
The Norwegian international has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League side all season and it appears to be coming to fruition.
Manchester City are expected to activate the striker’s release clause this week with personal terms already agreed upon. The transfer fee is reported to be between €70m and €95m.
Speaking on Sport1-Doppelpass on Sunday, future BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl expects clarity on Haaland’s future this week.
Other clubs such as Bayern Munich and Real Madrid were also monitoring the situation but Haaland looks to have made his mind up.
So far this season, Haaland has scored an incredible 21 goals in just 23 Bundesliga appearances.
