Julian Nagelsmann on Corentin Tolisso: “No final decision has been made yet.”

Speaking after Bayern Munich lifted their 10th consecutive Bundesliga title, head coach Julian Nagelsmann gave an update on the future of Corentin Tolisso.

“No final decision has been made yet,” said Nagelsmann. “That leaves room for interpretation in all directions.”

The 27-year-old Frenchman has less than eight weeks remaining on his current deal, which expires in the summer.

Discussions with sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic have been held but according to Kicker, an agreement for a contract extension is unlikely to be reached given his injury record and salary demands.

Speaking to Sport1, Salihamidzic added: “I sat down with him and we have a lot of conversations with each other. We have to see how the situation will develop. We know what he’s thinking and he knows what we’re thinking.”

Tolisso joined Bayern Munich from Lyon in 2017 for €41.5m.
