Chidera Ejuke awaiting visa before completing Hertha Berlin transfer

Hertha Berlin have to be patient before announcing their new signing Chidera Ejuke (24) as the Nigerian international is awaiting his visa from the German embassy in Moscow, according to Bild.

Ejuke will join the Bundesliga club on a season-long loan from CSKA Moscow as the Nigerian makes use of the new FIFA regulations that allow players in Russia and Ukraine to suspend their contracts – Alex Král is in a similar situation after he suspended his contract with Spartak Moscow, the 24-year-old has interest from Hertha and RB Leipzig.

Hertha hope to make Ejuke’s move official before they fly to England for a training camp on July 12th.

The Bundesliga side recently announced the signing of Ivan Šunjić from Birmingham City on a season-long loan with an option to buy whilst up to seven players could leave Hertha this summer. Krzysztof Piątek(27), Omar Alderete (25) and Dodi Lukebakio (24) are on the list of players that Hertha are looking to move on as they aim to secure further transfer funding.
