Borussia Dortmund without Marco Reus for tonight’s game against Hannover

As reported by Sport1 and Ruhr Nachrichten, Borussia Dortmund will be without Marco Reus (33) for tonight’s DFB Pokal game against Hannover 96. The German forward didn’t travel with the team yesterday.

It’s a minor setback for Reus, who made a brief return in BVB’s 2-0 defeat against Union Berlin at the weekend, playing 45 minutes. Per RN, Reus left the training ground in a private car 30 minutes prior to the team leaving for Hannover. Following an ankle injury picked up against Schalke last month, Reus’ return against Union likely came too soon.

Borussia Dortmund will also be without Marius Wolf and long-term absentees Mateu Morey, Mahmoud Dahoud, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Sébastien Haller.

Edin Terzic will be looking for a reaction against Hannover following their defeat against Union on Sunday, putting them seven points behind the leaders after just 10 games.
