Borussia Dortmund will open contract extension talks with 26-year-old central defender Manuel Akanji in the coming days, according to Bild.
The Switzerland international has a contract with BVB until 2023 but rejected an initial offer from the Bundesliga club to extend his contract.
Should Akanji not sign a new deal, he may be sold in the summer with both Manchester United and Bayern Munich showing a previous interest.
