Thomas Müller: We’re of course disappointed and angry.”

Speaking after Bayern Munich’s 2-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt, German forward Thomas Müller reflected on their first points dropped since the opening matchday against Gladbach.

“We’re of course disappointed and angry,” Müller told DAZN. “This is a game that we shouldn’t be losing. If we make it 2-1, it could have been 3-1 or 4-1 then we stand and sing ‘Super-Bayern’ again. It’s an unfamiliar situation, an unfamiliar feeling.”

Leon Goretzka opened the scoring before Martin Hinteregger equalised minutes later. Filip Kostić scored a winner for Eintracht Frankfurt eight minutes from time, securing Oliver Glasner’s first win as SGE head coach.
