2. Bundesliga side Fortuna Düsseldorf announced on Monday that they would part ways with 52-year-old head coach Uwe Rösler after his contract expires at the end of the season.
“In trusting and harmonious discussions with the sporting management, in which the sporting and the over situation around the club were discussed, both sides came to the conclusion that after my contract had expired, we would go our separate ways,” said Rösler.
“I would like to thank the team and the staff for their commitment and loyalty. This created connections that I wouldn’t want to be without.”
