Werder Bremen weighing up Patrick Erras transfer

Kicker report tonight that Werder Bremen are interested in signing FC Nürnberg defensive-midfielder Patrick Erras on a free transfer.

The Bundesliga club confirmed their top flight status after beating 2 Bundesliga club Heidenheim over two legs and despite Werder CEO Klaus Filbry expecting losses of €30 million, they’re still looking to strengthen their squad.

Kevin Vogt has returned to Hoffenheim after joining the club on loan in January whilst the signing of Erras would add competition to both defence and midfield.

The contract of Erras expires this month.
