Mainz 05 have announced the departure of 22-year-old defender Ronaël Pierre-Gabriel to Stade Brest on a season-long loan.
The Ligue 1 club have the option to extend the loan by a further season until 2022.
“We think that he has more options at Stade Brest to play regularly,” said Mainz sporting director Rouven Schröder.
