No contact between Manchester United & Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho

Kicker report today that there is no contact between Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of 20-year-old attacker Jadon Sancho.

The Bundesliga club have set Manchester United with a hard deadline of August 10 to get the deal done. If Sancho heads to Dortmund’s Bad Ragaz training camp, then it’s likely that the Englishman will remain.

Despite Kicker’s report suggesting that there hasn’t been any contact between the two clubs, multiple reports are suggesting that Manchester United are readying a financial package for Sancho and that talks are in the advanced stages.

The Guardian reported on Monday that Manchester United want to pay an initial €100m plus future incentives for Sancho whilst Bild suggest that the Premier League club will pay an initial €70m with the remaining €50m to be paid over the next two summers.

As per Fabrizio Romano, Sancho wants to join Manchester United and is ready to agree a five-year contract until 2025. Bild report that Sancho would earn €340,000 per week.

The merry-go-round continues.
