Manchester United in advanced talks with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho

According to The Guardian’s Fabrizio Romano, talks between Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of Jadon Sanco are now in the advanced stages.

No agreement between the two teams has been reached. Manchester United want to pay the €120 million transfer fee in instalments. The Guardian report that the initial fee will be €100m whilst Bild suggest an initial €70m upfront with the remaining €50m to be paid across the next two summers.

Borussia Dortmund have given Manchester United a hard deadline of August 10 to make an offer for Sancho, the day they head to their Bad Ragaz training camp. The Premier League club have just one week to get this deal done but it now appears to be moving quick.

As per Romano, personal terms between Sancho and Manchester United won’t be a problem with the Englishman ready to sign until June 2025.
