Gladbach make concrete approach for Barcelona’s Pedri

According to Sky Germany, Borussia Mönchengladbach have made a concrete approach for 17-year-old Barcelona attacker Pedri.

The Bundesliga club have discussed a possible two-year loan for the Spaniard via a video conference on Friday. A decision is expected to be made after the conclusion of the Champions League.

Mönchengladbach sporting director Max Everl has already confirmed interest in Pedri, telling Gladbach Live: “Pedri is definitely an interesting player.”

A move to Germany would provide the youngster with a straightforward route to first team football in an exciting Marco Rose side, who will play in next season’s Champions League.
