RB Leipzig could only get a draw at Wolfsburg but head coach Julian Nagelsmann believes his side have the ability to keep their 1-0 aggregate lead against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League.
“At the end, I hope we will start the game the same way like we did in Tottenham and then we’ve got a good chance to go in the next round,” Nagelsmann told Bundesliga.com.
RB Leipzig lead 1-0, meaning Tottenham must score at least one away goal, which could play into the hands of the Bundesliga club.
“I think that they will defend the same way like in the previous match because they have to score goals. Perhaps we will get a bit more space to create our own goals, but it’s important to defend the counter-attacks of Tottenham because they are very good at counter-attacks.”
