Premier League duo Chelsea and Manchester United have contacted representatives of RB Leipzig attacker Timo Werner regarding a transfer this summer, according to Bild.
The Germany international revealed last week his preference to play abroad should he leave RB Leipzig, Werner instead preferring a move to Liverpool rather than Bayern Munich.
Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp had hoped to meet Werner before the suspension of football due to the ongoing health crisis, in order to convince the 24-year-old to join the Premier League club.
