Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng could imagine himself staying at the Bundesliga club under Hansi Flick with his contract due to expire next summer.
“My contract in Munich runs until 2021,” Boateng told Sport Bild. “Under coach Hansi Flick, I can imagine fulfilling it. I owe Hansi a lot. If he weren’t the coach now, I probably wouldn’t be at Bayern.
“I know that the club has done a lot for me. As I know what I have done for the club. The club will always be something special for me. The combination of the city, fans and family feeling around the team is unique.”
