Bayern Munich appoint Miroslav Klose as assistant coach

Bayern Munich today confirm that Miroslav Klose will be Hansi Flick’s assistant coach start from July 1.

The former Bayern and Germany international striker coached Bayern’s U17 team but has signed a one-year contract to become Flick’s assistant.

“I’m really looking forward to the new task,” said Klose. “Hansi Flick and I have known each other very well, we trust each other both professionally and personally. For me, this is the next step in my career as a coach. I hope I can contribute with my experience.”
