Hertha BSC have announced the signing of Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujić on a one-year loan deal.
The 23-year-old spent last season on loan at the Bundesliga club making 22 league appearances, scoring five and creating one from central midfield.
Werder Bremen had also shown an interest in signing the Serbia international on loan but with Grujić enjoying life in the German capital, he opted to stay a further year at Hertha BSC.
“Marko showed his quality here immediately and proved how much he can help the team. We hope that he can stay fit during his second season and that he will continue to put in strong performances,” said sporting director Michael Preetz.
Liverpool will receive £2m.
