Ralph Hasenhüttl emerges as front runner for vacant Southampton role

Former RB Leipzig head coach Ralph Hasenhüttl has emerged as a front runner for the vacant Southampton job, according to Sport Bild.

Multiple reports in England, including an exclusive ran by The Telegraph suggests that the Austrian is Southampton’s preferred choice to replace Mark Hughes.

Although Hasenhüttl is unlikely to be in charge for Wednesday’s fixture against Tottenham Hotspur, Süddeutsche Zeitung do believe that he could be appointed before Southampton’s visit to Cardiff City.
