Jean-Paul Boëtius’ transfer from Feyenoord to Mainz has been made official with the 24-year-old signing for an undisclosed fee, although the transfer is reported to be around €3.5 million.
The attacking midfielder has signed a four-year deal with the German outfit and he could feature next Saturday as Mainz travel to FC Nürnberg.
A lot of Feyenoord’s fanbase were happy to see the back of the midfielder, but now Boëtius will be keen to showcase his talents in Germany as he looks to put his Feyenoord days behind him where he was perceived as arrogant.
