RB Leipzig have extended the contract of sporting director Ralf Rangnick until 2021, the club confirmed on Sunday evening. The 59-year-old had been linked with a move to Everton.
“I’m very pleased that my future lies with this great club. It’s been a fantastic development so far and I’m sure there’s much more to come yet,” Rangnick told the club’s website.
Director of Football Oliver Mintzlaff added: “We’re very happy to extend Ralf Rangnick’s contract. He’s the motor of this club and will be key in our ongoing development.”
